I’M BRADEN. THIS IS VELVET STATIC MEDIA. I’m a photographer and creative based in Draper, Utah. I love making things—photos, music, art—and photography gives me a reason to pay closer attention. A fleeting expression. Strange light on a concrete wall. Something ordinary seen differently. I’m especially drawn to portraits. Everyone brings their own style, energy, and awkwardness to the camera. There’s room for all of it. You don’t need to know how to pose or pretend to be someone else.
